Md. Masum FCA, FFA, FIPA qualified as Chartered Accountants and subsequently became a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB). He is an Income Tax Practitioner and a VAT Consultant as certified & accredited by the National Board of Revenue (NBR) and a lifetime member of the Chattogram Taxes Bar Association. Md. Masum is also the Fellow Member of the Institute of Financial Accountants (IFA), UK and the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA), Australia. He completed his Masters of Business Studies (MBS) in Accounting. He has subsequently served as Senior Management Employee in various private organizations and reputed local corporate groups for their local and international operations. He possess around 15 years of experience including 4 years’ experience in a firm of Chartered Accountants. He has intensive experience across a variety of internal and external audit, finance, accounts and eventually a very good tax practitioner with a sound knowledge in VAT, Cost control including corporate affairs. He is an expert in policy making, strategic planning etc. He is well trained in Companies Act, International Accounting & Audit Standards, analytical review, local & foreign funding, record keeping, Initial Public Offering (IPO) procedures, internal control mechanism, ERP software implementation etc. He has proven experience in his career in factory operation, production, efficiency mechanism, process loss mechanism, budgetary control commercial operation, feasibility study, practical taxation and VAT works, asset valuation etc. Also a very good decision maker to explore efficient control of factory operation & management. Being an active member he is also involved in various social and religious activities. He attended in various seminars & conferences arranged by the different bodies including foreign entities. Md. Masum is the Founding Partner of Ahmed Masum & Co., Chartered Accountants and Branch-in-Charge of its Dhaka Branch.
